Showyourteeth have grown. After only 3 years of existence this band has
experiencenced things others will only tell you when they look back on a
whole band-history.
Tours through Europe and UK, countless Weekenders and single Shows all
across the continent. Playing festivals with 160.000 attendees, aswell as
playing in front of 6 kids in a basement. From borrowing parent’s cars to
get to shows to buying an own van and almost wreck it. Hotel rooms,
bathroom floors, empty stages. Swimming in the ocean, freezing in unheated
forrest-cots.
“Being broke, losing friends and family, food poisoning and fever, not even
Drum & Bass during the changeovers will stop us from playing Shows.”
“That’s why this Band exists — we want to be on stage. I guess other people
inquire good therapists and spend a lot of money on Spas and all that
stuff. All we need to do is plug in and just let it all out.”
“Releasing pressure and feelings is nothing special, I guess it’s more the
way how you do it and what you make out of it. I guess it’s better to
create something positive out of negative feelings than sitting at home and
wondering why I can’t be like all that guys in the movies.”
